Ahh, pregnancy! What a beautiful thing to experience! Well, yes and no. Apparently everything in my body is thinning out and getting stretchy (I’m extremely grateful for this, body. Don’t think it’s going unappreciated) but that also includes the membranes in my nose. I never had a nosebleed in my life before pregnancy but I’m making up for that now.

Today’s wonderful moment happened as I was in the shower. It went like this: strange sensation in one nostril. Blood drips into the shower. Stop shower. Feel like hypothermia may set in without the warm water but think that maybe the warmth is causing nosebleed. Pinch nose and tip head forward. Feel a bit dizzy. Start coughing because of nosebleed. Nearly wet myself because of sudden cough, which doesn’t combine well with the constant need to pee.

See? Pregnancy is such a beautiful thing!
